Developer Setup Guide

StrikerLink is the application that allows headsets to connect to the Mavrik-Pro blaster. Without installing StrikerLink, the blaster will not work with any headset.

PC Installation

  1. Download the latest version of StrikerLink.
  2. Start the StrikerLink-Setup-<version>.exe file.
  3. When prompted by Windows SmartScreen, select More info, then select Run anyway.
  4. When installation completes, StrikerLink will automatically start. Find the installation directory at C:/ProgramFiles/StrikerVR/StrikerLink.

Headset Installation

  1. Plug the USB-C cable connected to your headset into your PC or laptop.
  2. Ensure USB debugging is enabled on your headset. When started, the StrikerLink Android Installer will alert you if debugging has not been enabled correctly.
  3. Navigate to C:/ProgramFiles/StrikerVR/StrikerLink/Tools/android/StrikerLink-Android-Installer/.
  4. Double-click StrikerLink-Android-Installer.exe to run the Android installer.
  5. Follow the instructions provided by the installer.
  6. Once the installation is complete, a notification should appear in your headset indicating that StrikerLink has successfully started.

Debugging

  1. If the installer does not recognize your device, double-check that USB debugging is enabled.
  2. Ensure you have the latest USB drivers installed on your PC.
  3. Make sure to allow any permissions requested by your headset during the process.

2. Connect the Mavrik-Pro​

After StrikerLink is installed, you can now connect the Mavrik-Pro to your PC or headset via Bluetooth.

PC (Windows 11)

  1. Turn your Mavrik on.
  2. Hold the L and R side buttons until the LEDs shut off. Skip this step if the pairing memory has already been cleared.
  3. Cycle power and turn the Mavrik back on.
  4. Navigate to your Bluetooth manager in Windows Settings.
  5. Connect the blaster, similar to connecting any other Bluetooth device to your PC.
  6. Once connected, open StrikerLink.exe and open Mavrik Manager.
  7. Once in the manager, ensure the Mavrik-Pro is connected by pulling the trigger. The colored dot next to your device name should blink when the trigger is pulled.

Android (Meta Quest 3 and HTC Vive Focus 3/Vision)

  1. Turn your Mavrik on.
  2. Hold the L and R side buttons until the LEDs shut off. Skip this step if the pairing memory has already been cleared.
  3. Cycle power and turn the Mavrik back on.
  4. Navigate to the Bluetooth manager in Settings.
  5. Find the Mavrik-Pro unit in the list of available devices for Bluetooth pairing, and select it. All LEDs on the Mavrik should be pale blue and constant.
  6. StrikerLink should initiate a connection to the Mavrik-Pro. Cascading lights and a connection haptic will indicate a successful Bluetooth and StrikerLink connection.
  7. The colored dot next to your device name in the Mavrik Manager device list should blink when the trigger is pulled.

Android (Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise)

  1. Turn your Mavrik on.
  2. Hold the L and R side buttons until the LEDs shut off. Skip this step if the pairing memory has already been cleared.
  3. Cycle power and turn the Mavrik back on.
  4. Navigate to Mavrik Manager.
  5. Make sure the Mavrik is the only one nearby that is in pairing/demo mode.
  6. Select Pair Device under the device list.
  7. StrikerLink should initiate a connection to the Mavrik-Pro seconds after the Bluetooth connection. Cascading lights and a connection haptic will indicate a successful StrikerLink connection.
  8. The colored dot next to your device name in the Mavrik Manager device list should blink when the trigger is pulled.

If you have paired your Mavrik-Pro unit to the Pico headset via the Bluetooth UI in the OS settings menu, it may take a few tries to unpair and disconnect from Bluetooth. Please only Bluetooth pair your Mavrik-Pro to Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise headsets using Mavrik Manager. We are working closely with Pico to streamline this process.

Basic Usage

  1. If you are using the desktop version of StrikerLink, you can now run the application.
  2. If you are on an Android-based XR headset and have StrikerLink installed, the Mavrik-Pro will automatically connect to StrikerLink.
    • If the Mavrik-Pro does not automatically connect, simply navigate to your app library and run the app.
  3. When a connection is made to StrikerLink, the Mavrik-Pro LEDs will cascade forward in purple, followed by solid purple after the cascade. Your blaster is now ready to interface with your game or game engine.

3. Open Mavrik Manager​

Mavrik Manager is the web-based UI that allows operators to remotely manage offsets, enable Bridge Mode, and manage Mavrik-Pro blasters.
